This design is a piece in a project I’m developing. It all started in an assignment of Tyler Edlin’s Fundamental of Design Class at CGMA. I always have my empathy for street vendors since I was a kid. The picture of an older woman carries a heavy burden, wanders before sunrise and gets home after sunset, it just broke my heart.
So I came up with an idea where in the near future, there will be someone who designs these enhanced machinery to help those poor souls. Machines that make their life just a bit easier, but it’ll go a long way.
Also, the text written on the canopy is “Dau Hu” meaning Tofu in Vietnamese. My favorite sweet treat when I was a kid.
